My husband saw one off the beaches in Washington state when he was 10. His story has never changed. It was standing in the woods leaning on a tree watching him on the beach about 25 ft away. He said it’s fur was kinda like dredlocks and the color was a greenish blue. Really long arms and almost no neck . It didn’t threaten him only watched him and then turned back into the woods and disappeared.
