The lifespan of a mouse is around 2 years, so 2 months is 1/12th of an average mouse’s lifespan between initial inoculation and death. If you say that the ‘average’ human lives for around 80 years, then 80 / 12 = 6.67 years between inoculation and death. FYI, the note around one dose would be slightly inaccurate – 98% death would occur in double the time period for two doses if it is a linear 7%, so would be the summer of 2035 rather than 2031 (7% per dose per year x 1 dose x 14 years =98%).
